Monumental Sports Network Studio and Office Space Honored with ‘Award of Excellence’ at 2024 NAIOP DC|MD Gala

Monumental Sports Network’s state-of-the-art studio, production facility, and office space in Washington, D.C. received the prestigious “Award of Excellence – Best Interiors 25,001 to 75,000 square feet” during the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks’ 22nd Annual Awards of Excellence. The facility, designed in partnership with Architecture Incorporated and opened in March, was honored at a gala on September 25. The multi-million-dollar headquarters for the independent media platform consolidates nearly 200 Monumental Sports & Entertainment employees into a LEED-certified 39,000 square foot space featuring a state-of-the-art broadcast network. The studios include 24 cameras, LED monitors, robotics, and control rooms to produce a variety of events simultaneously. Monumental Sports Network, wholly owned by Monumental Sports & Entertainment, holds local media rights for the Washington Capitals, Wizards, Mystics, and Go-Go as well as original programming, college sports, and games from various local teams. Since acquiring NBC Sports Washington in August 2022, the network has transformed into a digitally focused media platform.
