Matthew Perry’s mother, Suzanne Morrison, recently opened up in an interview about the moments she shared with her son before his untimely death almost a year ago. She recounted a touching moment when Perry expressed his love for her, almost as if it was a premonition of his passing.
Reflecting on the days leading up to his death, Morrison mentioned that Perry felt an inevitability to what was to come. Perry passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 54, after being found in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home. The autopsy report revealed that he died of acute effects of ketamine, a dissociative anesthetic.
Shortly after Perry’s death, five individuals, including his personal assistant, two doctors, and an alleged drug dealer, were charged in connection with his addiction to ketamine. Authorities stated that these individuals took advantage of Perry’s vulnerable state to profit themselves. The family expressed their heartbreak over Perry’s death but praised law enforcement for taking the case seriously.
Perry, known for his role in the popular TV show “Friends,” had been open about his struggles with drug and alcohol addiction and depression. The autopsy report indicated that he had been clean for 19 months before his death, but it did not specify if he had relapsed. The family is now awaiting justice to be served in the case of his death.
