Officials have released body-worn and dashboard camera footage from a fatal police-involved crash in Prince George’s County, Maryland, that claimed the life of 3-year-old Zoey Rose-Marie Harrison. The incident occurred on March 7, 2025, in Capitol Heights and involved the District Heights Police Department and Capitol Heights Police Department.

The footage shows an attempted traffic stop on an SUV that resulted in a high-speed chase, ending in a collision with four other vehicles. The crash left young Zoey and her mother hospitalized, with Zoey later succumbing to her injuries. The driver of the SUV, who was taken into custody and treated for non-life-threatening injuries, is under investigation by the Maryland Attorney General’s Independent Investigations Division.

The emotional video captures the heartbreaking moments as officers pulled the mother and daughter from their vehicle, which had been forced into a wooded area. Occupants of the other vehicles involved in the crash sustained minor injuries.
