Investigators in Philadelphia are working to determine the cause of an air ambulance crash that killed all six people on board and one person on the ground. The cockpit voice recorder and the enhanced ground proximity warning system, both known as the “black box,” have been recovered from the wreckage. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the incident and will release a preliminary report within a month, with a final report expected in 12 to 24 months. The victims have been identified, including a pediatric patient and her mother from Mexico, as well as the pilots and medical crew on board. The mayor of Ensenada, Mexico, has offered assistance in returning the bodies to their families. The investigation is ongoing, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
