Fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff recently opened up about her past connection to Danny Masterson, who was convicted of two counts of forcible rape in a recent trial. Minkoff, who appeared on the “Two Ts in a Pod” podcast, revealed that Masterson was supportive of her career when she was a budding designer, introducing her to girls and actresses who were excited to wear her designs. She emphasized that she hasn’t been in touch with Masterson for a decade and did not comment on his legal troubles.
Masterson, known for his roles in That ’70s Show and The Ranch, was found guilty of raping two women in the early 2000s and sentenced to 30 years in prison in September 2023. Prior to the conviction, several women had accused Masterson of sexual assault, with a mistrial occurring in his first trial before the successful conviction in the second.
Minkoff has also spoken about her ties to Scientology in the past, mentioning her beliefs in an interview on the “Dinner Party With Jeremy Fall” podcast. She explained that she turns to Scientology for knowledge and spiritual guidance in addition to her Jewish faith. Despite her ties to Scientology, she did not elaborate on her personal beliefs or practices within the organization.
