The game started with Utah taking a commanding 33-8 lead and they maintained their dominance throughout, leading 50-21 at halftime. Mississippi Valley State’s Arthur Tate scored 23 points, including three 3-pointers, in a losing effort. The Delta Devils have now lost all six of their games against Power 4 conference teams on the road.
With this win, Utah improves to a 5-1 record and will face Eastern Washington next, while Mississippi Valley State (1-6) will play Oakwood on December 2.
