High-profile celebrities such as country singer Jason Aldean and rapper Eminem are hitting the campaign trail to support Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. Aldean recently introduced Trump at a rally in Duluth, Georgia, emphasizing the former president’s fighting spirit and urging voters to show up at the polls, highlighting Georgia’s swing state status. Aldean and his wife have been longtime supporters of Trump, with Aldean defending him on social media earlier this year after his criminal conviction.
On the other side, Eminem appeared at a rally in Detroit to support Harris, introducing former President Barack Obama. Eminem encouraged the crowd to vote and voiced his support for Harris before turning the stage over to Obama, who even rapped a verse from Eminem’s song “Lose Yourself” to energize the audience. With these powerhouse celebrities lending their support, both campaigns are leveraging star power to engage and motivate voters in the critical weeks leading up to Election Day.
