The most searched candy by state according to Google trends

Google shared a list with USA TODAY of the most-searched candy in each state for Halloween, based on data from September to October. Candy corn was the top choice overall, followed by M&Ms, which ranked first in eight states. Other popular candies included Kit Kat, Hershey’s, and Reese’s. Some states had unique preferences, such as Hawaii with Kit Kat and Montana with Reese’s. The list revealed that candy corn was especially popular in states like Alabama, California, and Texas, while M&Ms were top in states like Indiana, Minnesota, and Ohio. Hershey’s was a favorite in Wyoming, Nevada, and Oklahoma, while Kit Kat was popular in states like Connecticut and North Dakota.
