Reality TV stars Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have expressed interest in converting religions if it means they can land roles on Hulu’s hit show, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. The couple joked about converting to Mormons at the Us Weekly + Pluto TV Reality Stars of the Year Party, with Spencer stating, “We gotta convert for a show? Mormons, here we come.” While Heidi hasn’t watched the show yet, she expressed excitement to catch up on it soon.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives follows a group of social media influencers living in Utah who are members of the Church of Latter-Day Saints. The show has been a hit on Hulu, with a second season already greenlit. The stars of the show, including Taylor Frankie Paul, have garnered attention and landed on Us Weekly’s list of Reality TV Stars of the Year.
Heidi and Spencer, who have been reality TV stars since their days on Laguna Beach and The Hills, are open to returning to television but have ruled out appearing on Housewives franchises. However, they are eager to pitch new show ideas, jokingly suggesting joining the Housewives of Dubai. The couple, who have been married for 18 years and have two sons, Gunner and Ryker, are focused on their family life in California. Spencer praised Heidi as an amazing mother and wife, emphasizing their strong relationship.
With a focus on their family and the possibility of landing new TV roles, Heidi and Spencer continue to embrace their reality TV fame.
