Markell Holman played a crucial role in the win, rushing for 182 yards and scoring two touchdowns in the final quarter, including the go-ahead score with less than five minutes remaining. The Red Flash initially took the lead with a touchdown pass from Jeff Hoenstine to DeMarcus McElroy in the first quarter, but the Hornets fought back to go ahead 17-6 going into the final period. However, St. Francis rallied, with Hoenstine connecting with Gavin Thomson for a touchdown and Holman breaking free for two crucial scores.
