Video reveals ‘The Most Luxurious McDonald’s’ destroyed by Hurricane Helene

Hurricane Helene caused unprecedented devastation in North Carolina, including in the historic Biltmore Village where a special McDonald’s was located. The franchise, known for its high-society elegance, was completely gutted by the storm, leaving it covered in mud. The McDonald’s, which featured red oak tables, luminous chandeliers, and a baby grand piano, was a popular spot for customers to enjoy their meals. The village is expected to remain closed for assessment and repairs, with at least 200 people dead from the storm. Uber and Lyft driver Vitor Sa, who passes by the McDonald’s daily, shared that families in the area miss the unique dining experience that the fancy McDonald’s provided. McDonald’s has not provided additional information on the status of the restaurant. The community is dealing with the aftermath of the storm, with many businesses, including other popular fast food restaurants, destroyed and closed for the time being.
