Michigan football unveils uniform selection for game against Washington

Michigan Wolverines football will be switching up their away game uniforms for their upcoming matchup against Washington. Since Jim Harbaugh took over as head coach in 2015, the team has primarily worn white jerseys with white pants for away games, along with the standard Michigan helmet adorned with helmet stickers. However, prior to Harbaugh’s tenure, the traditional away uniform consisted of white jerseys paired with maize pants.

For their game against Washington, the Wolverines will be reverting back to this old-school look, sporting white jerseys with maize pants. This marks only the fifth time since 2015 that Michigan has worn maize pants, as they have mostly stuck to the white-on-white combination under Harbaugh’s leadership. The team is also expected to accessorize with white accessories to complete the retro look.

Michigan has also experimented with blue pants for away games, donning them five times during Harbaugh’s tenure. The team’s decision to return to the maize pants for their clash with Washington has generated excitement among fans and players alike, as they prepare to make a statement on the road.

As Michigan gears up to face the Washington Huskies, recruits and targets have been predicting the outcome of the highly anticipated matchup. With three keys to securing a victory over Washington, the Wolverines are focused and ready to showcase their talent in their classic away game attire.
