Seven people were killed in a shooting attack in Jaffa, Israel, claimed by the armed wing of Hamas, moments before Iran launched rockets at Israel. The attackers, Mohammed Misk and Ahmed al-Haimoni, were from the West Bank city of Hebron. Police said they opened fire on a train, killing passengers, before being neutralized.
Three Israelis, one Georgian, one Greek, and one Moldovan were among the victims. Other suspects were arrested in Hebron and Jerusalem. Violence between Israel and Hamas in Gaza has claimed thousands of lives. In the West Bank, Israeli forces have killed hundreds of people.
