Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a new lawsuit alleging that he and his bodyguard raped a woman over 20 years ago. Thalia Graves claims that Combs and his bodyguard drugged and violently assaulted her, recording the encounter on video. The lawsuit also accuses Combs of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transporting women for prostitution. Combs has denied all allegations.
Graves met Combs through her then-boyfriend, who worked at Combs’ record label. In 2001, Combs allegedly drugged Graves and assaulted her at a recording studio, causing her severe physical and emotional trauma. Graves never reported the assault out of fear for her safety and custody of her child.
The lawsuit also claims that Combs and his bodyguard showed a video of the assault to Graves’ former boyfriend and other men, causing further distress to Graves. She has since suffered from severe PTSD and has attempted suicide.
Gloria Allred, a prominent women’s rights attorney, is representing Graves in the lawsuit. The allegations against Combs have resurfaced following a previous lawsuit by R&B singer Cassie, who accused Combs of abuse and rape.
Combs has faced a series of abuse allegations in recent years, and the current lawsuit adds to the legal troubles he is facing. Graves is seeking a jury trial to seek justice for the trauma she has endured.
