Police are currently searching for a man who allegedly spit on a concertgoer during a Jelly Roll show at Capital One Arena in D.C. The incident occurred on Saturday night around 11:30 p.m. when the victim claimed the suspect was blocking his view of the concert. Despite attempts to get the man to move, which included throwing popcorn at him, the victim eventually contacted venue staff who removed the suspect from the arena. However, as the man was being escorted out, he allegedly spit on the victim’s face. The suspect had already left the arena by the time officers arrived, but police have released images of him and are urging anyone with information to come forward. Several witnesses corroborated the victim’s account of the incident, with one even capturing the altercation on video. The concert, part of Jelly Roll’s Beautifully Broken Tour, started at 7 p.m., with doors opening at 6 p.m. Those with information are asked to contact police at 202-727-9099 or text 50411.
