ATM bandits struck two gas stations in Germantown overnight, prompting Montgomery County Police to launch a search for the suspects. The first incident occurred at a Shell gas station on Frederick Road around 5 a.m. where the suspects rammed a vehicle into the station to steal the ATM. Shortly after, a similar theft occurred at an Exxon station down the road. Fortunately, no one was injured in either incident, as both gas stations were closed at the time. Residents in the area were shocked to hear about the crimes, with many vowing to be more vigilant moving forward. Police have not confirmed if the two incidents are related, and the suspects involved remain at large. Investigators are actively pursuing leads in both cases.
