The team’s debt was also considered in the ranking, with a percentage value of 17%.
This is CNBC’s first ranking of NFL teams, with Forbes’ annual rankings in 2023 placing the Commanders at No. 8 with a value of $6.06 billion. The Dallas Cowboys topped CNBC’s list with a value of $11 billion, followed by the Los Angeles Rams, New England Patriots, New York Giants, and Las Vegas Raiders in the top five.
