British band Oasis has announced two additional concert dates on their comeback tour after overwhelming demand from fans. The group, known for hits like Wonderwall and Don’t Look Back in Anger, last performed together in 2009. The band split when lead guitarist Noel Gallagher refused to work with singer Liam Gallagher, his brother, due to public disagreements. The original tour included 14 shows in various UK and Ireland cities, with new dates added in response to fan excitement. The added concerts will take place at Wembley Stadium in September 2025. Ticket sales for the initial concerts were chaotic, with prices surging due to high demand. The UK government has promised to investigate the ticket pricing practices. Oasis emphasized that they were not aware of the dynamic pricing strategy used for ticket sales. The band stated that decisions on ticketing and pricing were made by promoters and management. Fans who were unsuccessful in obtaining tickets for the initial shows will have the opportunity to join a ballot for the new dates. The Gallagher brothers, Noel and Liam, have not performed together since 2009 but both continue to play Oasis songs at their solo gigs. The band promises a unique and intense experience for fans during their reunion concerts.
