Just days before his arrest on a felony domestic violence charge, Nikki Bella expressed her love for her husband Artem Chigvintsev in a heartfelt Instagram post celebrating their second wedding anniversary. Bella shared a highlight reel from their 2022 Paris wedding, citing the lyrics to Haley Reinhart’s version of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” as their love story. Chigvintsev also posted a loving tribute on his own Instagram page, expressing his love for Bella and their life together.
Chigvintsev was arrested by Napa County Sheriff’s deputies under a California penal code regarding domestic violence, but it is unclear whether Bella was involved. The alleged victim has requested confidentiality. Chigvintsev was released on bail and their 4-year-old son, Matteo, was born in July 2020.
The couple met in 2017 when Bella was a contestant on “Dancing with the Stars” and started dating in January 2019. They documented their lavish wedding on the reality TV series, “Nikki Bella Says I Do.” Chigvintsev will not be returning to “DWTS” for Season 33.
