As the war in Ukraine enters its 911th day, notable developments have taken place on Saturday, August 24, 2024. The United States has announced a new round of military assistance to Ukraine worth $125 million, including air defense munitions, ammunition, and antiarmor missiles. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen praised Ukraine’s progress towards joining the European Union, while Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to engage in talks with Russia to end the conflict.
