The MSU-Northern Skylights basketball team recently announced the signing of transfer player Katelynn Forner for the 2024-25 season. Forner, who previously played at Lower Columbia College and Vancouver Island University, brings a wealth of experience to the team with her strong performance on the court.
During her time at Lower Columbia College, Forner was a standout player, averaging 7.8 points per game and helping her team win the NWAC title in her freshman year. At Vancouver Island University, she continued to showcase her skills, averaging 3.9 points and four rebounds per game.
Known for her hard-nosed playing style and ability to make her teammates better, Forner’s signing is a promising addition to the Skylights roster. Coach Chris Mouat praised her versatility and leadership qualities, highlighting her willingness to do whatever it takes to help the team succeed.
