Woman charged after employee struck by vehicle

Talanye Carter of St. Louis, Missouri is facing assault charges after allegedly running over a Jack in the Box employee who replaced her missing chicken strip but forgot to include ranch dressing in her bag. Carter became upset when the missing item was not replaced with ranch dressing and spat in the manager’s face. As she left the restaurant, she noticed the manager trying to document her license plate and ran into her shoulder, asking if she was trying to press charges. Carter then got into her car, reversed, and ran over the manager’s foot and ankle before fleeing the scene. She was later apprehended by the police and is facing charges of second-degree assault and fourth-degree assault. The manager sustained injuries to her foot and ankle, with visible swelling and bruising. Carter has been in custody since her arrest and does not have a bond. She could not be reached for comment, and it is unclear if she has legal representation at this time.
