Eastern Washington women’s basketball team is gearing up for an exciting 2024-25 season with a strong schedule ahead. After making history last season by securing a spot in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1987, the Eagles are eager to defend their regular-season title and Big Sky Tournament championship. The team will kick off their season with an exhibition game against Eastern Oregon on October 27, followed by a challenging non-conference schedule that includes matchups against Washington State, Gonzaga, and UC Santa Barbara.
In addition to their non-conference games, Eastern Washington will play nine conference games, including matchups against Montana, Montana State, and Idaho. Head coach, Leslie Gleason, who earned Coach of the Year honors last season, will lead the team in their quest for another successful season.
With a program and Big Sky record of 29 wins last season, including 16 conference wins, the Eagles have set high expectations for the upcoming season. Season ticket deposits for men’s and women’s basketball games are now open, allowing fans to reserve their seats at Reese Court for the 2024-25 season.
As the Eagles prepare to hit the court, they are focused on building upon the success of last season and making a strong statement in the Big Sky Conference.
