A 17-year-old male from Westmoreland, Tennessee, has been arrested in connection with the murder of Trinity Bostic, a 17-year-old girl who went missing last month. Bostic’s remains were found along a Middle Tennessee road on July 3. The teen suspect is currently being held in Sumner County Detention and is charged with first-degree murder. Bostic was reported missing on June 29 in Macon County and her body was discovered by a Tennessee Department of Transportation subcontract worker. Police have stated that they suspect foul play in the case, with the investigation being treated as a homicide. The cause of Bostic’s death is still under investigation pending an autopsy.
The Hendersonville Police Department is urging anyone with information about the case to come forward and contact the department or Hendersonville Crime Stoppers.
